This week has been exceptionally cold and I thought that I need to get more use out of my leather leggings. Click here to see the post where I styled it 6 different ways. I have to say that these leggings are extremely comfortable and I thought that I might feel weird wearing them running errands, but I didn’t. I kept it casual by pairing my leggings with a white t-shirt, cardigan, statement necklace, flats and scarf. Leather leggings are a great alternative to your normal cotton ones. So moms the next time your headed out, think about adding some leather leggings to your wardrobe :).

I recently made my very first tiered baby shower cake. I was a bit nervous, but it turned out great, my friend’s words, not mine Below are pictures of the cake.

This past Saturday my husband surprised me by taking me to a Murder Mystery at Science World in Vancouver. I absolutely love murder mysteries. I was an avid reader and fan of Nancy Drew growing up and to this day I love me a good mystery. I’ve been watching CSI since it first aired. My husband kept it a surprise until right before we left on Saturday. I was so excited!!! We are now planning to host one in the New Year.

We had a fabulous time. It was adult only affair, complete with wine (which honestly was my only complaint, next year something better I hope). You get to walk around all of Science World and then we all congregated in the Imax Theatre where the murders took place. Then we had about 45 minutes to figure out the murderer and motive. Clues were scattered through out Science World and they had 3 extra little scenes with clues. My only complaints were the wine selection and the fact that I wish we had more time to find all 10 clues. Although we only managed to find 5 or 6 clues, I did guess the murderer. My husband was super impressed. Can’t wait for us to host one. Below are pictures of our evening. I also included some pictures from the music exhibit. This was perfect, just in time for Halloween :)!!!!!!
