About

Before I introduce myself, I want to explain the title of my blog. I chose Vodka Infused Lemonade after a very difficult week, where I had a lot of lemons coming my way and wanted to write something funny on my Facebook update. I wrote “when life gives you lemons, you make vodka infused lemonade”. Let’s be honest, we all have those days where we need a little something to help our day go better. I got lots of “likes” and thought hey this might make a good blog title. I never ended up making vodka infused lemonade, just updating my status was cathartic enough.

My name is Agnes or as most people know me Agi. I live in the lower mainland of BC. I am a mom to a toddler boy, and am married to the most amazing and supportive husband. During the week I look after my son and on the weekends I work as a Labour & Delivery nurse. My passions are fashion (absolutely love the TLC show What Not To Wear), food, books, baking (I recently discovered a talent for cake and cupcake creations), music and anything kid related. I want my blog to reflect my interests and help other women and mom’s out there feel pretty about themselves. For them to wake up and not just put on the first thing that is clean, but to put together an outfit that makes them feel pretty. I want to show other moms that just because you are one, doesn’t mean you can’t dress fashionably. I want my blog to be a place where women come to read about a great book I read, or to come and get fashion inspiration, or read a funny anecdote about being a mother. The most important thing I want my blog to do is to create a place where women come and enjoy reading my posts and find some inspiration in them.

      Hey Mitzi,

      I work in LDR. I worked in surgical for 1.5 years and then quickly made the switch to LDR.

    I just stumbled across your blog! I have the same GAP gray stripe tulip dress you have! I did a google search for ideas of ways to wear it and found you! Can I ask… how tall are you? Im trying to decide if I want to keep my dress or exchange for the tall size. I’m 5′ 8.5″ so sometimes I’m in between regular and tall sizes. Anywho, I really enjoy your blog and look forward to exploring it more!
