Preschool Graduation & Tres-Chic Fashion Thursday Link Up

I’m so excited about tonight. I am attending Vancouver Mom’s celebration for their 30 top mom bloggers tonight. I can’t wait!!!!!!!! Looking forward to meeting fellow bloggers, networking and enjoying some champagne, chocolates and fashion!!!!!!!

This past Tuesday we celebrated my son graduating preschoool. I honestly can’t believe how quickly these past 2 years have gone. I remember 2 years ago potty training my son, and now I’m preparing him for school. It’s insane!!! My husband thinks its kind of silly to be celebrating finishing preschool, but I feel like this is a huge step for these little guys and it’s important to mark the occasion. Anyways we had a wonderful time. I almost went into the “ugly cry” when I saw my son in his little cap and gown. They sang “O Canada”, and other wonderful songs. They did a beautiful slideshow and the kids got a cute Clifford book. It was a very special night and I couldn’t be more proud of my little man.

Super Bowl Fun!

Like many of you, we watched the Super Bowl on Sunday and celebrated Seattle’s crushing win with some friends. We had a great time. We made an insane amount of food, enjoyed far too many martinis and were able to actually watch the game!!! It’s so nice to have a child old enough that can play with other kids his age and we adults can sit and relax. It was wonderful. The entire weekend was great. We spent both days actually with great friends. It was much needed. Below are pictures of our Super Bowl party. We also had the house decorated for Valentine’s Day. This is what you get for having a toddler who loves decorations!!!!!!

I had far too many Cosmos while watching the Super Bowl. Our official drinks of the game were Cosmos and of course Bud !!

I did make 24, but somewhere along the way 2 disappeared and no one will cop to it. I think it was my husband :)!!!!!

May this blog inspire you to spend more time with friends. It felt so good to be able to spend time with people that we care about. It’s nice to be able to be ourselves with them. We’ve spent far too many years with people that we couldn’t be genuine with. So thank you “friends”, you know who you are, for a much needed relaxing and fun weekend :).

Burgundy Cardigan, Heart Blouse & Tres-Chic Fashion Thursday Link Up

This is what I wore on Tuesday to run errands and to Book Club: a heart blouse, burgundy cardigan and skinny jeans. I’ve had this blouse in my closet for a while now and I was a bit stumped on different ways to wear it. I thought that the cardigan would look great with the blue and beige from the blouse. I like the way it turned out. What do you guys think?

I know I’ve been wearing jeans a lot lately. It’s my default pant but I promise next fashion post will feature something other then my jeans.
