It’s no secret that I absolutely adore anything maxi related: dresses, skirt, I’m in love. For today’s post I decided to show you how you can take a day look and make it into a night one. One of my favourite ways to wear my maxi skirt is with a simple white tank top, sandals and simple necklace. A great way to make it into a night look is to change your sandals to heels, add a statement necklace, blazer and clutch and you’re set to go. It’s an easy way to quickly change up your outfit from a day look into an evening one. You can also change up your make up by wearing a bright lip or smokey eyes.

Style it with a simple white tank top, sandals and tote for a day look

Style it with a statement necklace, blazer, clutch and heels for an evening look

    This is going to sound so lame - but I literally just found the maxi dress. It’s true! For years I was so afraid to wear one because I felt like I looked stupid in them - but then my sister gave me one of her casts off recently and I basically wear it everyday! So comfortable.

    Thank you for the inspiration. It was only this morning that on that drive in to work I realised that I do not own a maxi skirt!
    I love the night outfit - the Purse is amazing!! I need one in my life! Pity (or not) that we do not have Kate Spade Stores in Europe (or I do not know of them:))

    I finally purchased a similar striped B+W Maxi so this post was useful. I love it with the simple white tank and simple jewelry and then how you took it into the evening look which is stunning.
